100% ACRYLIC FORMULA
100% Acrylic resins are the undisputed choice for long term durability Unlike
traditional sealers cmposed of oil resin acrylics provide superior weather
resistance, adhesion and flexibility. They allow tile wood to expand,
contract and breathe which competitive sealers do not. Acrylics also provide better
resistence against ultra violet exposure and they do not support mildew
growth like their oil based counterparts.

ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY
Wood Rx was developed with the applicator and the environment in mind. WOOD Rx does not contain hazardous solvents or the
dangers associated with them. It is completely safe for the applicator to use
and it will not harm vegetation or marine life.

SUPERIOR MILDEW RESISTANCE
WOOD Rx contains the most effective fungicides available. Traditional oil based
sealers are breeding grounds for mildew growth. Fungus feeds off of these oils,
thus, supporting growth. Acrylics, by nature, do not support the growth of
mildew and combining them with the powerful fungicides used in WOOD Rx creates the best mildew and algae protection
available in a wood sealer.

SUPERIOR UV RESlSTANCE
WOODRx contains a unique blend of UV absorbers which give excellent protection
against ultra violet exposure. Conventional UV inhibitors, used in traditional
sealers, do not provide adequate protection for long term exposure to the
sun's harmful rays. While WOOD Rx is not a water white clear, it is a transparent finish which tends to highlight the natural color of the wood: The
tone created by the UV absorbers provides more superior UV protection than
traditional sealers.
- EXCELLENT MOISTURE RESISTANCE
WOOD Rx protects against rot, and decay by resisting moisture and water
penetration. When properly applied, WOOD Rx forms a continuous film which
will not allow water to penetration and damage the wood. The acrylic
technology coupled with its unique water repellent system provides for long term protection
from water penetration.
- RESISTS CHIPPING. PEELING AND FLAKING
WOODRx provides the acrylic advantages of flexibility and adhesion which allow
the product to expand and contract with the-wood, It also allows the Wood to
breathe which is a major advantage over traditional oil sealers. A
hard brittle finish like traditional oil sealers do not have the properties to withstand the natural
tendencies of a wood substrate. WOODRx does.
- ONE DAY APPLICATION
WOODRx may and should be applied to a damp surface thus, allowing the applicator to
prepare and seal tile wood in the same day. Traditional oil sealers must be applied to a
thoroughly dry surface If weather conditions are not favorable, a simple application may
turn into an extremely-time consuming process when using traditional sealers.
- LASTS 3-5 TIMES LONGER THAN TRADITIONAL WOOD
SEALERS
Exposure results, as well as, actual applications have proven that traditional 0il
sealers last an average 0f six months in Southwest Florida. After one year of
exposure on a south 45 degree angle, WOODRx exhibited a slight, but
insignificant change from the effects of the exposure. In fact, actual applications
have proven that WOOD Rx technology has performed for up to five years.
- UNLIMITED CUSTOM COLORS
WOODRx was initially available in our original, transparent Natural end Redwood
tones. Because of it's success, a demand for a wider variety of colors was crested.
WOODRx is now available in almost any shade desired by the customer.
